Audi Ships 19 Examples of the New LHD A1 Quattro to the UK

For the people who want to buy the new hatchback version of Audi, A1 Quattro, we have bad and good news for you.

The good news is that the model which was produced in limited numbers will be available in UK markets and the firm will take order next month. And the bad news is that out of a total example of 333 units worldwide, only 19 will be imported to the Britain. All of them use left-hand drive.

The price of the Quattro is £41,020 (equal to €49,500 or US$64,600. Compared to the 340 PS RS3 Sportback, it is about £1,000 more expensive.
The A1 Quattro, which adopts the TTS, is supported by engines with turbocharger and direct injection, a capacity of 2.0 liters, and four cylinders. It produces an output of 256 PS at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 350 Nm between 2,500 and 4,500 rpm and is linked through a quick shifting manual gearbox with six speeds and all-wheel drive system.
Audi accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 5.7 seconds and a highest speed of 152 mph, along with the combination of fuel economy that reaches 33.2 mpg UK.
It is stated by the German carmaker that 600+ components have been replaced during the crafting of the limited-edition A1 Quattro. The Quattro also sports a steering system, beefier brakes and returned suspension.
